Troy continued their winning ways by beating Galeton 15-0 in NTL West baseball action Friday.
Justin Fitzwater scored the win for Troy with three strikeouts to go with one hit and one walk while Cody Wolfe came in to strike out three.
At the plate Tyler Hodge had a 3-run home run while Kyle Jackson got his first varsity hit with a 2-run double. Fitzwater added a 2-run double while Landis Zimmerman and Zach Root also had hits.
Lucas Havens scored twice with 2-RBI while Delbert Lewis, Josh Mattocks and Ryan Reeves also scored. Chad Vermilya, Root, Zimmerman and Hodge crossed home twice in the game.
Vermilya and Ryan Reeves both knocked in runs.
Nick Hand had the lone Galeton hit.
Troy will travel to Williamson Monday.
Wolverine Dylan Perry allowed just three hits and three walks while striking out seven in IAC baseball action Friday.
Perry also went 3-for-4 at the plate with a double and run scored while Cody Marchese also had a double with a run scored. Zach Saxon and Anthony Girolamo had a hit and run scored while Pat Bronson had a single. Dylan Gutierrez scored twice for Waverly.
Dan Saniga earned a complete game win for the Hornets in NTL West baseball action Friday.
Nick Callahan led Wellsboro at the plate going 3-for-3 with two runs scored while Thomas Johnston and Pat Parsons both went 2-for-3. Johnston added 2-RBI and two runs while Parsons also had an RBI. Matt Reese was 1-for-2 with a run scored as well.
Taylor Hillson led the Tigers, going 1-for-2 with an RBI and four stolen bases. Bryce Zaparzynski scored a run while Sam Rotella scored the loss.
The Griffins fell to the Indians in a rain shortened Heartland Conference baseball game Friday.
Barry Heinrich went 2-for-3 with both doubles to lead Sullivan with a run scored and an RBI. Forrest Jordan went 2-for-2 while Colton Frey had a hit and scored a run.
Kelby Mullen scored the loss, going five innings to allow two walks, seven hits and four earned runs while striking out three.
Doug Zehner earned the win, striking out seven while allowing two walks.
Sullivan (7-8) is at Benton on Monday.
The Tigers hit the ball well but couldn't keep Edison's line-up down in the IAC loss Friday.
Eric Zwierlein, Jake Howland and Zach Williams had two hits each with an RBI to lead Tioga. Zwierlein and Howland also scored runs.
Cody Bennett had a triple with two runs scored while Peter Simmons had a hit with 2-RBI. Ryan Verguson added a hit with a run scored while Dakota Skinner belted a single.
Kyle Mashaud led Edison, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored. Jarod Cosgrove, Tyler Ungerland and Tyler Trocia all had two hits each.
Verguson started and took the loss, going four innings to allow two walks, seven hits and two earned runs with one strikeout. Zach Baker came on in relief, allowing seven hits, one walk and four earned runs.
Mashaud scored the win.
Tioga (6-6) will host Notre Dame Monday to start a four game week next week.
