Wyalusing rallied from a 8-1 deficit in the fifth inning to win 11-10 over Williamson in NTL baseball action Monday.
"It was a sloppily played game," remarked Wyalusing coach Dave Hitchcock.
The Rams had seven errors on the day while Williamson had four miscues.
"The kids battled back and we hit better as a team," said Hitchcock. "But we have to play better defense and our pitchers weren't as sharp."
After a five inning fifth the Warriors led 8-1 but Wyalusing got three back in the bottom half to cut it to 8-4.
Then in the bottom of the sixth they exploded for six runs to take a 10-8 lead. In the top of the seventh Williamson knotted it up with two scores but in the bottom half Wyalusing got the one run they needed to get the win.
Jordan Salsman and Isaac Bennett both went 3-for-4 for the Rams with Salsman adding a run and 2-RBI. Kyle Tinna (2-for-3), Holdan Hitchcock (2-for-4) and Devin Carr (2-for-4) had multiple hits as well. Dylan Otis added a double with two runs and 2-RBI while Cody Pickett and Ridge Williams also had hits. Williams and Alec Drake both scored twice.
On the mound Pickett started, going five innings with six strikeouts, five walks, nine hits and eight runs, two of which were earned. Carr came on for an inning with two strikeouts, three walks, three hits and one earned run.

For Williamson Kyle Colegrove was 3-for-4 with three runs scored while Matt Learn (2-for-4), Billy Barnes (2-for-4) and Johnny Daley (2-for-3) also had multiple hits in the game.
Colegrove crossed home three times, Learn scored twice with Barnes and Daley each scoring once.
Colin Heilbrun, Wyatt Gorg and Luis Silva also had hits. All three scored once as well.
On the mound Colegrove started, going five innings to strike out four with one walk, seven hits and three earned runs. Daley went 1 1/3-innings with one strikeout, two walks, four hits and four earned runs while Learn pitched in the seventh with one walk, two hits and two earned runs.
While some parts of the Wyalusing school district were under snow the high school was playable and that made Hitchcock happy to be on schedule.
"We get a couple of days of much needed practice," he said. "We're a young team, we're going to have a lot of these ups and downs but you'll take a W any way you can get it."
Wyalusing hosts NEB Friday.
