NEB tops Sullivan to win tourney.

The Northeast Bradford baseball team won their home tournament with victories over Candor and Sullivan County on Saturday. NEB defeated Candor 11-1 in the first game.
Grant Allis started the game for NEB and threw two innings with six strikeouts, allowing one run on three hits. Nate Chilson threw the last four innings, striking out seven batters and allowing no runs on three hits.
Garret Smith finished with two runs and two hits for NEB, Nate Watkins had two runs on four hits including a triple, Allis finished with a double and two RBI, Derrick Newman finished with a double and an RBI, Ian Wilbur had two runs and two hits including a double, Clayton Connor added two runs, two doubles and two RBI, and Tyler Devonshire had two runs, two doubles and one RBI.
NEB clinched the tournament championship with their 13-4 win over Sullivan County on Saturday evening.
For NEB, Nate Watkins had two hits, three runs and an RBI, Grant Allis finished with two hits including a double, a run and two RBI, Derrick Newman added a hit, two runs and an RBI, Nate Chilson had two hits, one run and four RBI, Tyler Devonshire finished with three hits, three runs and two RBI, Clayton Connor had two hits, a run and two RBI, Max Cooper had a hit and a run and Garrett Smith scored a run.
For Sullivan, Jake Doyle, David Maxwell and Brice Hoffman each had one hit, Brian Lewis and Taylor Baldwin each had a hit and a run, Sam Carpenter and Jared Houck each scored a run, Baedon Bedford had an RBI and Jeremy Houck had a hit and two RBI.
Devonshire started the game for NEB and threw four and one third innings, struck out two, and allowed four runs on five hits. Roland Pyhtilla pitched the last inning and two thirds, striking out two batters and allowing one hit.
For Sullivan, Baldwin threw four innings, striking out three, walking four and allowing 13 hits. Jeremy Houck relieved him and pitched a scoreless inning.
Sullivan County won their first game at the NEB tournament on Saturday against Susquehanna, 13-8.
Jake Doyle had two runs and three hits for Sullivan, Brian Lewis added one run and one hit, Sam Carpenter finished with two runs and two hits, Jared Houck had one run and two hits including a double, Taylor Baldwin scored two runs and had two hits including a triple, Will Kiner added a run and a hit, Jeremy Houck had two hits and two runs, and Nate Higley finished with a hit and a run.
Jake Doyle and Jared Houck combined to strike out six batters and allow eight runs.
Clark Jackson had two hits, two runs, and two RBI to lead Troy to their 15-0 win over Line Mountain on Saturday.
Anthony Dietrick added one hit and two runs, Matt LaBadie had one hit and two runs, Nate Martin finished with two hits, two runs and an RBI, Tyler Williams had a hit, two runs and an RBI, William Dibble added a double and three RBI, Kody Schucker had a hit, an RBI and two runs, Brandon Zechman had one hit, three RBI and two runs, Hunter Kendall finished with a hit and an RBI, Mason Bellows had two hits and three RBI and Mike Borden scored a run.
Bellows threw a complete game shutout for Troy, striking out three batters and allowing five hits.
Troy fell to Shamokin 12-2 in local baseball action on Saturday.
Clark Jackson had three hits including a double and two runs for Troy, Anthony Dietrick finished with two hits, Matt LaBadie had an RBI, and Nate Martin had a hit and an RBI.
LaBadie started the game and threw three innings allowing four runs on three hits and striking out one. Hunter Kendall relieved him for one inning and allowed five runs on three hits. Dietrick finished the last two innings and allowed three runs.
Towanda fell to Edison in the first game of a double header on Saturday, 6-1.
Luke Tama started the game for Towanda, throwing four innings, striking out one and allowing six runs, three earned, on four hits. Caleb Lines relieved him for the final three innings, allowing no runs on two hits.
Ryan Bartholomew had two hits and an RBI for Towanda, Lines and Ricky Smiley each had one hit and Lars Thomason had a run scored.
In the second game of the double header Towanda lost to Edison 5-3.
Troy Pierce started the game for Towanda and threw four and one third innings, striking out four and allowing seven runs, five earned. Bobby Farley threw for one and one third innings and allowed no runs and Lars Thomason finished the game, striking out one batter and allowing one hit.
Thomason had four hits including a double and scored two runs, Tyler Bidlack finished with two hits and one RBI, Luke Tama added one hit and Keegan Kisner scored one run.
Kyle Warner scored a run, hit a double and drove in three runs to lead Wyalusing to their 11-1 victory over Mountain View on Saturday.
Riley God had one run, one hit and an RBI for the Rams, Shane Fuhrey finished with two runs, Joe Wheeler had a run and a hit, Holdan Hitchcock finished with two runs, two hits and a RBI, Chandler Brown finished with two hits, Mason McGroaty had one run, Mike Wilcox finished with one run, one hit and two RBI, Zach Bryun had one run and Cody Jackson finished with one run, one hit and one RBI.
Brown started the game for Wyalusing, throwing two innings he struck out two batters and allowed one hit. Warner relieved him for one inning and allowed one run and struck out two batters. Wilcox relieved him for one inning and allowed no runs and Hitchcock pitched the last inning, allowing no runs and striking out two batters.
