Savannah Doney threw a shutout and struck out four batters for NPL en route to their 3-0 win over Troy on Tuesday.
For NPL, Doney also had a double and a run scored. Emma Williams added one hit and Carmen Bates and Lauren Smith each scored one run.
For Troy, Nicole Spalding, Vanessa Watson, Riley McClellan and Roxanne Kingsley each had one hit. Caitlynn Hoffman went the distance for Troy, allowing three runs and striking out two.
Shailei Kraft went six for six with three doubles, two stolen bases, seven RBI's, five runs, and pitched a scoreless inning with one strikeout to lead Waverly to their 30-1 win over Candor on Tuesday.
For Waverly, Wendi Hammond had a double, two singles, two stolen bases, one run, two RBI's and one walk; Jordan Mente added two runs, one single, one RBI and one walk; and Kari VanAllen finished with two singles, four runs, two stolen bases, one RBI and one walk.
Riley Hall started the game and threw four innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out four.
On offense, Hall had two home runs, two runs and four RBI's. Katie Goodwin added three runs, one single, one double, one stolen base and two RBI's, and Sydney Meyers finished with two runs on two walks.
Zoe Mennig had a grand slam, a double, three singles, four runs and seven RBI's, Morgan Adams finished with one run, one stolen base and one walk, Paige Miller added one run, one double and one RBI, Paige Lewis had two runs, one hit and one RBI and Kennedy Wheeler finished with three runs, two singles and one RBI.
Caleb Fitzwater had one hit, one walk and three RBI's to lead CV to their 7-6 win over Williamson on Tuesday.
For CV, Kurtis Easton had one run, one hit, three stolen bases and two walks; Wynn Doan finished with two runs, two hits, two stolen bases and one walk; Christian Kemp added one hit, one stolen base and two walks; Owen Fitzwater contributed one run, one hit and two RBI's; Seth Huyler added two runs, two hits, three stolen bases, one RBI and a walk-off walk to end the game; Jace Bieser finished with one run, one hit and two walks; and Corey Wells had one walk and one RBI.
Huyler started the game for CV, he threw four and one third innings allowing two earned runs on five hits. Bieser relieved him and threw 3 1/3 innings, striking out three and allowing one earned run on three hits. Chris Lingle pitched the last 1 1/3 innings, striking out one and allowing one run on one hit.
For Williamson, Hunter Sackett had one run, one hit, one RBI and one stolen base; Brock Sackett added one run, one hit and two walks; Jared Stermer finished with one run, two hits, one RBI and one walk; Chase Austin had one run, a double, two singles, an RBI and two walks; Nevin Stiles had one RBI, Brandon Enck had one run, one hit and one walk; Hayden Austin finished with one run, one hit and one RBI and Ethan Shafer had two walks.
Chase Austin started for Williamson and threw seven and two thirds innings, striking out three and allowing one earned run on eight hits. Nevin Stiles relieved him for 1/3 of an inning and allowed three runs, one hit and five walks.
Bradey Roney had two runs, two hits, three RBI's and one walk to lead Waverly to their 17-5 victory over Candor on Tuesday.
For Waverly, Dylan Cooney had one hit and two RBI's; Mike Shaffer added one run, one hit, one stolen base and one RBI; Brendyn Stillman had one double and one walk; Zach VanHouten had two runs, a double, a single, a stolen base, two RBI's and one walk; Nate Bennet added three runs, a double, a single, two stolen bases, one RBI and one walk; Hunter Bodine contributed two runs and one walk; Ethan McEnulty finished with two runs, one hit, one RBI, two stolen bases and one walk; Tyler Croft finished with one run, one stolen base and two hits; Jason Morales added two runs, one double and one RBI; Paul Girolamo finished with two hits, one RBI and two stolen bases; and Grant Caplan had two runs, two hits and a stolen base.
Devan Garrison pitched three innings to start for Waverly, striking out six and allowing one run on three hits. Cole Jenner relieved him for one inning, struck out three and allowed three earned runs. Grant Caplan then came in for one inning and allowed one run with one strikeout. Nate Bennet finished the last two innings, striking out two and allowing no runs on one hit.
