SOUTHPORT, N.Y. - Collin Traub used his bat, and his arm, to lead Waverly to a 5-3 win over Notre Dame on Saturday morning.
Traub had three hits, and scored a run for Waverly. Traub struck out three and walked two, while allowing four hits.
Peyton Miller had a pair of hits, with two RBI and a run scored for Waverly and Brendyn Stillman had a double and two RBI. Kyle Kinsley had an RBI and Zach Gingrich scored two runs.
Matt LaBadie had a triple and an RBI, with a run scored for Notre Dame and Parker May had a double and an RBI.
Kyle Minchin had a hit and scored a run and Cam Reid scored a run, while Chris Karam had a hit.
May struck out three and walked five, allowing six hits, in six innings and Ben Cook struck out one and walked two in one inning.
Troy 13, Wellsboro 2, 6 innings
EAST TROY - Brandon Mattocks was 4-for-5 with two runs scored to help lead the Trojans to the win on Saturday.
Brock Schucker had two hits, with an RBI and Kyle Jackson had two hits with two RBI.
Anthony Dietrick scored three runs and Clark Jackson and Jarrod Mattocks scored two runs each.
Mitchell Morse, Kyle Schucker and Isaac Havens each had hits for Troy.
Kyle Schucker struck out three in five innings on the mound and Havens struck out one in one inning.
Dawson Prough was 3-for-3 with a double and a run scored for Wellsboro and Dalton Prough had a hit, while Joe Allen scored a run.
James Mundy started on the mound for Wellsboro.
Wyalusing 7, Mansfield 5; Wyalusing 14, CV 8
Devon Carr and Kyle Tinna combined on the seven-hitter on the mound, striking out four and walking four in the win over Mansfield.
Wyalusing scored six runs in the second inning to break the game open.
Holdan Hitchcock had a double and two RBI and Isaac Bennett scored a run. Dylan Otis scored a run and Carr had a hit and scored a run.
Dawson Otis scored a run and ridge Willias had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.
Alex Dake had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored for the Rams.
Jarrod Burd had a hit and scored a run for the Tigers and Bryce Zaparsynzki had two hits, with a double, two RBI and a run scored.
Joel Whitteker had a hit, an RBI and a run scored and Brendan Holleran had a hit.
Levi Adams had a double and scored a run and Zach Kriner had a hit, while Derek Hurbst had a run scored in the game.
JP Shaw struck out one on the mound and Holleran struck out seven in relief.
Against CV the Rams got a pair of hits, with four runs scored from Hitchcock and Dylan Otis had a 3-for-4 day with a double.
Carr had a double and Tinna had a hit and scored four runs. Bennett had a hit and scored a run and Williams had a hit and scored two runs.
Levi Simpson scored a run and Dake had a hit and scored a run and Dawson Otis scored a run.
Dylan Otis struck out three and walked one in three innings on the mound and Bennett worked four innings of relief, striking out five and walking none and allowing one hit.
Matt Freeman, Tyler Melko, Colton Vinluan, Brendon Bell and Chris Lingle all had two hits for CV in the game. Freeman and Vinluan each scored a run, while Melko and Bell scored two runs each. Melko had a double in the game. Caleb Fitzwater scored a run for CV.
Fitzwater started on the mound and CV struck out four in the game.
