SOUTHPORT, N.Y. - Collin Traub used his bat, and his arm, to lead Waverly to a 5-3 win over Notre Dame on Saturday morning.
Traub had three hits, and scored a run for Waverly. Traub struck out three and walked two, while allowing four hits.
Peyton Miller had a pair of hits, with two RBI and a run scored for Waverly and Brendyn Stillman had a double and two RBI. Kyle Kinsley had an RBI and Zach Gingrich scored two runs.
Matt LaBadie had a triple and an RBI, with a run scored for Notre Dame and Parker May had a double and an RBI.
Kyle Minchin had a hit and scored a run and Cam Reid scored a run, while Chris Karam had a hit.
May struck out three and walked five, allowing six hits, in six innings and Ben Cook struck out one and walked two in one inning.
EAST TROY - Brandon Mattocks was 4-for-5 with two runs scored to help lead the Trojans to the win on Saturday.
Brock Schucker had two hits, with an RBI and Kyle Jackson had two hits with two RBI.
