2015 Wellsboro vs. Northeast Bradford BaseballThe Troy Trojans scored a run in the eighth inning to edge Canton 14-13 on Thursday afternoon.

In the eighth inning Isaac Havens led off with a triple and after a pair of intentional walks to load the bases Nick Stephani delivered a walk-off hit for the Trojans.

Havens had three hits, with a double, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored and Kyle Schucker had two hits, with a double, two RBI and a run scored.

Brandon Mattocks had two hits, with three runs scored and two RBI and Jarod Mattocks had two hits, with two runs scored and two RBI.

Kyle Jackson had a double and scored a run and Brock Schucker had a hit.

Stephani had a hit and an RBI and Collin Binford had two hits and scored a run.

Mitchell Morse scored two runs and Nathan Swain and Chance Lantz scored runs.

Tyler Cole had four hits, a double and two runs for Canton and Bryce Cole had four hits and scored a run.

John Bowman had three hits and scored three runs and Travis Butcher had two hits and scored two runs.

Mason Moore and Trevor Route each had a hit and scored two runs and Mason Martell had a hit and scored a run.

Kyle Schucker pitched three innings for Troy, striking out two and Kyle Jackson, Morse, Havens and Mattocks pitched in relief.

Martell pitched three innings for Canton and Route, Brendon Landis and Tymeson pitched in relief.

Troy hosts Towanda today.

Wellsboro 14, NEB 12

LERAYSVILLE - The Green Hornets watched a 12-5 lead slip away, but then scored two runs in the seventh to pick up the win on Thursday.

Dawson Prough had four hits, with a home run, two doubles, five RBI and a run scored and Nick Tremper had a hit, three RBI and three runs scored.

Dalton Prough scored two runs for Wellsboro and Nick Levindoski had a hit, two runs and an RBI.

Brett Kendrick scored a run and had an RBI and Joe Allen scored a run. Sam Moss had an RBI and scored a run and Caleb Tennis had a hit and scored two runs, while Johnny Rowland scored a run.

Brian Horton had an RBI and scored two runs for NEB and Garret Smith had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

Aaron Pifer had two RBI and David Ford had a double and scored three runs.

Nik Geiser had a hit and Derek Newman had a hit and an RBI.

Tyler Emick had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI and Bryan Ford had a hit, a run and two RBI.

Hunter Condusta scored a run and Adam Ford had a hit.

Dalton Prough pitched five innings for Wellsboro as the starter and Geiser went three innings as the starter for NEB.

NEB is at Sayre on Monday.

Mansfield 8, Wyalusing 7

The Tigers scored five runs in the third to rally from a 4-1 deficit for the win.

Jarrod Burd had a double and an RBI for Wellsboro and Bryce Zaparzynski had three hits, an RBI, a run scored, a triple and a double.

J.P. Shaw had a hit, a run and an RBI and Joel Whitteker had two hits and scored a run.

Nathan Tice had a hit, a run and an RBI and Scott Reese had a hit, a run and an RBI for the Tigers.

Carl Dinger had a hit and Kipp Hillson had two hits, with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.

Isaac Bennett had a hit for Wyalusing and Holdan Hitchcock had a double and scored a run.

Kyle Tinna had two hits, with a double, and a run scored and Dylan Otis had two hits, with a double, an RBI and a run scored.

Devon Carr went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI and Ridge Williams had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Eli Bennett had a hit, two RBI and a run scored.

Burd struck out one in three innings for Mansfield and Hillson struck out one in three innings, while Brendan Holleran struck out two in an inning.

Tinna struck out two in three innings for the Rams, Carr struck out five in three innings and Bennett pitched an inning.

Wyalusing is at Wellsboro today.

Towanda 15, Williamson 6

The Black Knights scored six runs in the fifth and eight in the sixth to rally from a 5-1 deficit to get the win.

"We have just got to keep playing and see what happens," Towanda coach Bill Sexton said. "It was a frustrating loss last night at Athens and a little shoddy play on our part had us down four today then we got some good hitting."

Towanda also had a big defensive play in the game as they turned a triple play in the sixth inning. A bunt attempt was popped up to pitcher Troy Pierce with runners on first and second and Pierce made the catch, threw to Tyler Bidlack at first for the second out, and Bidlack threw to Dylan Bates at second to complete the triple play.

Towanda got off to a good start as Ethan Barto had a one-out double in the first and Dylan Bates followed with a long double.

Williamson got a run in the bottom of the first, two in the third and two in the fourth to take the lead.

Towanda got back with the big fifth inning and in the sixth their big inning was keyed by a two-run double by Bidlack.

Tristan James had three hits and two RBI for Towanda and Bates had two hits, three RBI, a double and two runs scored.

Nick Place had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Barto had a double, two RBI and three runs scored.

Bidlack had a double, two runs and two RBI and Luke Tama scored a run.

Bates pitched three innings, striking out four, walking three and allowing one hit and three runs, just one earned. Barto struck out three, walked three and allowed three hits and three runs, two earned, in two innings to get the win and Pierce struck out two, walked one and allowed no runs on two hits in two innings.

Anthony Bastian had two hits for Williamson and Jon Daley scored two runs. Collin Heilbrun had a hit and scored two runs and Carl Gorg scored a run, while Wyatt Gorg had a double and a run scored. Anthony Sargent had a hit.

Towanda is at Troy today.
