Three members of the Wellsboro Varsity Baseball team were named to the NTL All-Star team on Monday, June 6.
Seniors Dawson Prough and Nick Tremper were both first team selections and sophomore Dalton Prough was a second team selection.
Dawson Prough led the Hornets in hits (33), runs (33), doubles (14), and fielding assists (52). For his career, Dawson Prough went 123-for-242 (.508 avg) at the plate with 43 doubles, 6 triples, 7 home runs, 90 RBI's, and 115 runs scored in addition to adding 99 put outs and 180 assists from the field.
Tremper drove in 27 runs and hit .299 from his catcher position. Tremper finished his career 53-for-200 (.265) with 12 doubles, a home run, 61 RBI's and 50 runs scored. Tremper also had 285 put outs and 47 assists from behind home plate.
Dalton Prough finished second on the team in hits (27), runs scored (30), and led the team with 16 walks. Defensively, Dalton Prough had 23 put outs and 35 assists.
