Coaching Bio
Coach Smith is in his second year as Wellsboro Baseball Head Coach and has served as a volunteer coach for five seasons prior. He is a graduate of Galeton Area High School and former college baseball player at Youngstown State University.
After graduating from Galeton, Coach Smith attended Youngstown State University and Lock Haven University. Coach Smith has also recently received a degree in Educational Administration from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.
In addition to working within the Wellsboro High School program, Coach Smith has coached baseball at other levels including Little League, Senior Little League, Junior Varsity and served as an assistant coach with Corning Elite Travel Baseball.
Coach Smith currently teaches elementary physical education in the Southern Tioga School District and resides in Wellsboro with his wife, Kim and son Caden.
